The 2008 Summer Workshop in Tuscany runs from May 25th - June 6th, 2008. Our private bus will meet the group at the Florence Airport on May 25th and bring you to Fattoria Vagli where we will begin our workshop. We will be in residence at the Fattoria Vagli for six nights and at the Hotel/Osteria del Vicario for six nights. Flights should be booked to arrive in Florence before 12:00 noon on May 25th. Departing flights should be arranged from Florence on June 6th after 10:00am.

The fee for this workshop is $3,390*. This includes:

• All lecture/demos including Special Renaissance Techniques in watercolor, egg tempera, fresco, silverpoint, & composition.
• Individual instruction in the medium of your choice.
• Supplies included are: 1 silverpoint stylus and prepared paper, and pigments for tempera.
• Faculty guided museum visits and entry fees, walking tours and excursions during our travel segment.

Accommodations:
At Fattoria Vagli double room* with individual bath at a charming renovated and modernized farmhouse complete with studio room, in ground pool, fruit orchard, garden and sitting area, which overlook the fields and hillsides of rural Italy.
At the Osteria del Vicario: double room* with individual bath.
(*Double rooms are standard, limited singles are available on a first come first serve basis for a $395 supplemental fee)

Meals provided include:
Daily continental breakfasts. 6 lunches, 11 Dinners. Meals throughout the itinerary include special trattoria dinner, Certaldo trattoria lunch, bountiful fattoria lunches & dinners from Mamma Emilia's kitchen, and dinners at the Osteria del Vicario. Also included is a Chianti Classico Vineyard tour and tasting.

Also included are:
All transfers & all ground transportation on our private busses. These include: Airport Transfers, Half-day trips to San Gimignano, Volterra & Chianti Classico region. Full day trips to Siena, and Florence!!!

*The 2008 Summer Workshop in Tuscany is limited to 13 participants. Air travel to and from Florence is not included in the workshop fee. Beverages & gratuities are also not included in workshop fee. Prices are based on double occupancy. Singles are available on a first come, first serve basis for a $395 supplemental fee.
