Initial eligibility for the University of Hartford Honors Program is determined upon admission and is based on SAT or ACT scores and class rank.

After freshman year, students may participate in the program if they have fulfilled the eligibility requirements for the Honors Program in their college.

To remain in the program students must maintain the GPA specified by their college’s Honors Program.

To graduate with University Honors, a student must have an overall average of at least 3.0 in honors coursework and must meet the Honors GPA requirements of the school or college. Students must also complete the honors coursework specified by their college.
