
STEP AEROBICS
For the latest in aerobic workouts, participants have their own Reebok Step to perform different exercises. Each class starts with elementary exercises that gradually increase in difficulty.
STRETCH & TONE
A non-aerobic class designed to increase flexibility and firm all areas of the body. Level of difficulty is based on individual ability, and particpants work at their own pace. This class is designed to motivate people with good structure on the proper way to exercise.
GUT BUSTER & SCULPTING
A non-aerobic class designed to strengthen and tone major muscles, especially abs, thighs and buttocks. A warm-up and joint prep are followed by a variety of exercises using handheld weights, ankle weights and Dynabands tubing for stretching and flexibility. A great supplement to an aerobic workout!
TAE-KWON-DO
Tae-Kwon-Do is an ancient Korean art of self-defense. This course is designed for all levels of ability. Form, basic skills and sparring techiniques will be taught.
KICK BOXING
This class is a real knockout. It contains kicks, blocks and punches, along with jabs, cross hooks, and roundhouse kicks. This class will make your heart pound and your eyes bulge.
YOGA/MAT PILATES
This class is designed to warm, strengthen, tone, loosen, and revitalize your body and relax your mind. You will learn how to increase your energy and flexibility and reduce stress. You will be guided through simple and rich movement explorations to increase your physical and mental awareness. Music will be used in many classes to enhance your experience of yoga. No previous expereience is neccessary. Please bring a towel or a sticky mat to class.
RAPE AGGRESSION DEFENSE (RAD)
This class is for women who have a desire to learn practical defense techniques. The program covers awareness, prevention, risk reduction-avoidance measures and physical defense techniques.
LIFEGUARD TRAINING
A training course for American Red Cross certification to become a lifeguard. Basic swimming skills are required. All American Red Cross lifesaving skills are taught. To be certified, each indvidual must have passed all American Red Cross skills tests.
