The men and women of the
University of Hartford Department of Public
Safety are dedicated to maintaining a safe
environment for faculty, staff, and students
in order to achieve their goals and pursue a
positive educational experience. The
information contained in this web site was
developed to assist the campus community in
learning about crime awareness, policies and
procedures, and the services provided by the
staff of the Department of Public Safety.
Our ability to maintain an acceptable safety
record can only be achieved through the
cooperation and support of all students,
faculty, and staff. Crime prevention is
everyone's responsibility!
