Table Vendor Contract

This contract is hereby entered between University of Hartford and __________________, for use of a vending table on the following date: ____________.

University of Hartford Table Vending Regulations:

1. The Office of Student Centers & Activities requires $100 flat fee. The $100 acts as a deposit and must be submitted. Please make checks payable to "University of Hartford", and send them to Susan Landolina. Administrative Assistant. Student Centers & Activities GSU205, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, Office of Student Centers & Activities, and West Hartford, CT 06117.

2. All vendors must report to the Student Center & Activities office located in Gengras Student Union 205, to confirm their reservation. Any vendor showing up without a reservation will be given space if available, as determined by the scheduling staff.

3. All vendors must complete and sign a vendor information form and a vendor contract and
pay the minimum non-refundable fee in advance of $50.00 in cash or check (made payable to "University of Hartford") before they will be allowed to setup their vending space. This will not be negotiable.

4. Vendors will also need to check out at the office by 4:00pm and show their gross sales receipts. Any additional charges owed to the college are to be reconciled by cash or check.

5. Our office's regular hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; however, best vending times are between 10:00 a.m.
and 2:00p.m.

6. The vendor contract clearly states that a vendor is paying for only one table; the vendor may bring one additional table as part of this rented space. Vendor tables will be labeled with your designation and will not be changed.

7. Vendors may not load and/or unload on the sidewalks or grass adjacent to Gengras Student Union. The appropriate loading and unloading for off campus vendors is the Gengras Student Union Mail Services Loading Dock located on the north side of the building (not the foodservice loading dock on the east side of the building). After unloading, the vendor can either park in the marked visitor parking spaces in Lot C or go directly to the Public Safety building and get a "temporary parking" permit and properly display the permit and follow Public Safety's parking rules and regulations. Vendors who get ticketed must reconcile their tickets directly with Public Safety; the Office of Student Centers & Activities will not handle parking tickets for vendors.

8. University of Hartford reserves the right to ban articles for sale that are sexist, racist or offensive and derogatory in nature or that promote the use of alcohol. The sale of incense and candles are prohibited on campus. Credit card companies and/or banks are not eligible to solicit on campus. Any food or beverage giveaways or sales must be
approved in advance by the Director, Student Centers & Activities.

9. Vendors must confine their goods to the table areas allotted, unless prior consent has been given by the Director,Student Centers & Activates.

10. Off-campus vendors are financially responsible to the University for damage to facilities, tables, and grounds due to vendor negligence, and payment is required on demand when presented by a designated university official.

11. All cancellations must be paid at least one week in advance during business hours (Monday -Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30p.m.). Vendors who cancel after that time or do not show up to vend on scheduled date, will lose their vending fee.

12. University of Hartford reserves the right to allocate space immediately outside the Student Union to vendors. Such space shall be determined by the Associate Director, Student Centers & Activities, or Director, Student Centers & Activities, and shall generally exceed no more than 12 feet. Poster vendors and vendors requiring more than 12 feet must provide a minimum of 20% of their day's receipts.

13. Any postings, publications or signage need to be approved in advance of vendor date by the Office of Student Centers & Activities.

14. Off-campus vendors must respect and abide by request of all university officials (including student building managers). Vendors are guests to the university and mutual respect is expected at all times.
