Joining SAI

We warmly invite students from all majors in the university who have a passion for music, theatre, or dance, to our Rush events for the fall.  Come have some fun and meet the sisters of the Eta Mu chapter while you learn more about SAI at Hartt!  Any questions or concerns may be directed to our VP Membership, Allison Nicotera.

Requirements for Membership

 College students must fulfill the following membership requirements:

• Demonstrate a sincere interest in music | Being a music major or minor is not required
• Complete at least one semester at the university, including at least 3 credits in music
• Achieve a cumulative GPA above 2.75
  
• Meet the chapter's Member-in-Training (MIT) requirements
• Includes a weekly one-hour meeting for MIT's
• Meet the financial obligations
• Member-in-Training fee due at time of pledging
• Initiation fee due at the time of the National Exam
  
• Pass the National Exam
  

We encourage all who are eligable for a bid to write a letter to the sisterhood about why you are right for SAI and why SAI is right for you.

FRESHMEN AND TRANSFER STUDENTS: Due to Fraternity Policy, students are not eligible to recieve a bid until completing their first semester and establishing a GPA at the University of Harford. Even if you are not eligible for a bid we still encourage you to come to rush events. It will give us more time to get to know you and for you to get to know us!
