Welcome to the Residence Hall Association
Here you will find useful information about how to get involved with our organization to make improvements to your residential living area as well as the community you are a part of. As a part of the University of Hartford, RHA is committed to community and strives to build upon the great things we already have here for us.
Join your Hall Council, sit on the General Board, or find a committee that serves an interest you have in your community. Find ways to get involved while you are here. The connections you make will last you a lifetime!
Two years ago, I was like you: nervous and ready to take on the world. As everyone enters their first year with eagerness, everyone feels unsure when their parents leave and you're left in a new place sharing a room with someone you barely know. It is the job of the Residence Hall Association (RHA) to make your transition from a high school student to an independent college student less nerve-racking and help you develop your voice on a campus where many are outspoken. In order to help students find their voice, RHA has assembled this magazine in hopes of giving you more independence, as well as giving you pointers on how to fully enjoy your first year here at the University of Hartford. I hope to see you around campus and hopefully we will write the endings to each of our collegiate chapters together.
Best Wishes,
Megan Waggoner
