Graduate students this year have two options for campus living. Option one, which was selected through on-line room selection was our Village apartments. Option two, which is now available is our Asylum Avenue Campus (AAC) of the University of Hartford.

Village Apartments
These apartments for upperclass students are grouped in seven clusters, each with its own courtyard. They consist of one, two, or three bedrooms, accommodating two, four, or six students. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and one or two bathrooms. Both duplex-style and one-floor apartments are available.

Village Quad 1 is 24 hours quiet hours and available for Graduate student housing.

Village Quad 2 is 24 hours quiet hours and smoke free.
Bedrooms are furnished with beds and mattresses, dressers, and desks. A dining table and chairs are also provided. It is expected that students will add their own choice of living-room furniture, accessories, cooking utensils, dishes, and other essentials.

Asylum Avenue Campus (AAC)
These townhouses is an off campus community for Graduate students. They are located in a quiet residential area in the west end of Hartford on the Asylum Avenue. Modernized, furnished 4-bedroom townhouses is shared by two graduate students. The fee is $3750 per semester, and the housing contract is on an academic year.

Each graduate student will have:

• A private bedroom and a private office/study
• A shared living room, kitchen and bathroom(s)
• Heat, hot water, electricity, cable, internet
• However a parking decal is offered by Public Safety at the commuter rate.

Interested graduate students should submit a $150.00 housing deposit, contact SASC at 860.768.4999 to apply the $150.00 payment as your housing deposit. After 24 hours have pass go to the self-service center to submit a housing application as a request for housing.

• New Graduate students follow the New student application process.
• Current Graduate students follow the Housing Selection 2012 process.
• Housing for Graduate students is based on availablity.
• Summer housing for new graduate students who will be living in AAC for the fall academic year is $1,500.00 (This cost covers June and July).
• Summer Housing Charges will be posted on your student account upon your check in date.
• There are no prorate opportunities regarding summer housing charges.
