Questions regarding current license and purchase opportunities should be directed to Lynne Rizzi x4009 or email lrizzi@hartford.edu

Before placing an order for software, please familiarize yourself with the University Policy.

What license agreements are in place?

The University of Hartford currently has contracts in place with Microsoft [Select], and Adobe [CLP].  These contracts provide us with the ability to purchase software at significantly educed prices.

Who can purchase from the University contracts?

University faculty and staff can purchase software to be installed on University owned computers only. Students are not eligible to purchase from these contracts.  Only requisitions initiated by University departments will be honored.  No personal purchases.

Students can try one of these on-line academic licensing resources for reduced pricing as well:

Before placing an order for software, please familiarize yourself with the University of Hartford Software Management and Compliance Guidelines.  Click here for printable copy.  It is imperative that this document be reviewed by all end users.  Before any software order will be filled, the signature page must be signed and submitted to the Purchasing Department.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING DEFINITIONS:

License:  the purchase of a license grants perpetual ownership and permission to install/run specified product on one University owned computer.  It does not necessarily entitle the owner to upgrades.

Media:  a copy of the software on CD.

Documents:  Software manuals. Documentation is also available through the software help files.

The University of Hartford Purchasing Department is not responsible for errors or omissions of any kind.
Price increases may occur and are published as quickly as possible.
Please read this entire document ALL the way through before calling for help.
