We are pleased to announce effective December 6, 2004, you can initiate pickup, authorize shipment, and print labels directly with Federal Express by using their Federal Express On-line system.  This new procedure will provide many benefits and should speed the pickup process and insure each account is charged correctly and in a timely manner.  Plus you will be able to obtain cost estimates and configure shipping options.  It will make the tracking of your shipment easier and create access to various reports.

To begin using the on-line system, you will need a password and ID, which can be obtained by calling the Purchasing Department. To authorize a shipment, a Fund or Org will be required. 

Please note that the on-line system is replacing the current process of using customized preprinted FedEx labels and phone orders to Federal Express.  Effective December 6, 2004, the on-line system will be the only authorized method to ship from the University using Federal Express.
