Student On-Line Parking Citation Appeal Form

The Student Traffic Appeals Board will hold hearings for student parking citation appeals during the academic year. The appeal process team will review your ticketing history with Public Safety.

This electronic form replaces the appeals form that used to be only available from the SGA office in GSU room 120 during their normal office hours. By placing this form on-line you now have the ability to request an appeal 24/7.

While the on-line process here is the quickest way to submit your request for an appeal, and receive an answer you may still request an in-person appeal with the Traffic Appeals Board. If you elect to have your appeal in-person at a hearing, please complete this form and include your phone information so the board may schedule your hearing. Please state that you wish an "IN-PERSON APPEAL HEARING" in the Explanation of Appeal request block below. If you are requesting an in-person hearing you do not need to explain the reason you feel you should be granted an appeal. You will state that information at your hearing.

Parking tickets are eligible for appeal only if the appeal form is received by the Traffic Appeals process team within 14 calendar days of the date issued on the citation. Today's date is: Please check your citation to make sure you are not past the 14 day limit.

CITATIONS FOR MOVING VIOLATIONS ARE ONLY APPEALABLE TO THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY Examples of moving violations include but are not limited to speeding, disregarding a stop sign, failure to yield to pedestrians, or using a cell phone while operating a vehicle without a hands free device. Citations for Parking in a Handicap space without a State issued permit are also not subject to appeal.
