All scores for standardized tests need to be included
in your application to veterinary school. Each
participating AAVMC college requires a standardized test
as prerequisite for admission. Unfortunately, they all do
not require the same tests. While the GRE is the most
common test required, some require the MCAT exam and
others use the VCAT exam. To check on which
standardized test(s) required at your schools of interest, please follow this link (College Specifications).
All standardized tests should be sent directly to VMCAS.
Be careful to take these exams early enough to be
included in your admission application.
