The Association of Colleges of Optometry represents
the interests of the seventeen colleges of optometry whose primary goal is to strive for
excellence in optometry education.
The American Optometric Association
is dedicated to providing
quality eyecare and represents more than 32,000 optometrists and other eyecare
professionals. The AOA is the professional authority in the optometric industry. The AOA serves members consisting of Optometrists, Optometry students, paraoptometric assistants and technicians and provides information about eye conditions and concerns, clinical care and optometric education.
