Letter from the President
The Parents Association was established to develop programs for parents and to enhance communication between the parents and the University. An executive board provides leadership for the association, and all University of Hartford parents and guardians are invited to participate in its meetings. The Parents Association plays a significant role in supporting the University of Hartford through its involvement in:
- Fall Weekend (Parents Weekend and Homecoming)
- The Career Advising Network (Parents who volunteer to provide information to interested students about their chosen profession)
- The Parents in Admissions program (Parents who provide assistance by attending College Fairs at their local high school or host a gathering of admitted students and their families)
- Parent Association Allocation Committee (Parents who help with the disbursement of special funds)
Membership is automatic for all parents and legal guardians of undergraduate students.
