Present	Technical Support Manager, PTI, Middletown, CT.   PTi is a rapidly growing, wholly owned division of ICL financial services, responsible for providing leading edge, client / server, smart card based, stored values payment systems.  Primarily responsible for managing and organizing growing technical services area, responsible for: QA of all software (internally and externally developed), training, system implementation services, system upgrade services, customer support, consulting services and marketing support.  Other responsibilities include budgeting and allocating departmental resources, identifying and hiring qualified candidates, ensuring all activities are completed in a expeditious and professional manner.  Specific systems work includes:  Sybase, Oracle, MS SQL Server and MS Access databases; Windows NT Workstation and Server, Windows 95 and 98 operating systems; coding in SQL and MS Access; and extensive knowledge of smart cards, cryptography, and attended and unattended POS terminals.
