Nane’s Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

  1. - 1 2/3 cups sugar
  2. - 2/3 cup oil
  3. - 2/3 cup water
  4. - 4 eggs
  5. - 3 1/3 cups flour
  6. - 2 teaspoons baking soda
  7. - ½ teaspoon baking powder
  8. - 1 teaspoon salt
  9. - 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  10. - 1 ½ teaspoons nutmeg
  11. - 1 can pumpkin (16 oz.)
  12. - 2/3 cup nuts (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 loaf pans and then line with wax paper. Trim edges of wax paper.
Mix sugar and oil. Stir in pumpkin, water and eggs. Mix in dry ingredients. Stir in nuts. Put into prepared pans and bake for 60 – 70 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes on cooling rack. Then take out loaf and discard wax paper and continue to cool.
