Other Creative Products

Just Like Me (1997).  A 30-minute video depicting social comparison others who contracted HIV as teenagers.  Designed to motivate AIDS-preventive behavior among high school students. 

Knowing the Facts (1997).  An 18-minute video presenting the facts of HIV/AIDS and AIDS-preventive behavior.

Stakes are High (1997).  A 24-minute video modeling the behavioral skills necessary for practicing AIDS-prevention.

People Like Us: A Reprise (1992). A videotape of HIV+ social comparison others for college students designed to motivate people to change HIV risk behavior, used in AIDS prevention interventions.

Couples Like Us (1994). A 35-minute video emphasizing the potential for individuals to contract HIV from others with whom they are in a close relationship. Designed to motivate safer sex among individuals in relationships.

These videotapes were produced by the Center for HIV Intervention and Prevention at the University of Connecticut.
