About The Major

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with a major in Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) degree program will prepare students for technical careers in the engineering profession as well as for a wide range of other career paths such as business, management or education. The program focuses on testing, production and design implementation of electromechanical systems and processes. Graduates can work as members of multidisciplinary teams and and apply current engineering technologies to the solution of current and emerging technical problems.

The Department also offers a minor in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
