Fall Semester 2009 International Photography Contests

Thank you for your interest in the Study Abroad Office’s Fall 2009 International Photo Contest.  This event recognizes many of the international experiences that students in the University of Hartford community have while pursuing off-campus study opportunities.

Each semester, the Study Abroad Office offers students the chance to share a glimpse of the culture in which they were immersed.  Images often tell a story and give the viewer a hint of life beyond their own lens.  Some examples include natural landscapes, cityscapes, and notable landmarks.  Photos that showcase the photographer within the host culture may also be submitted.  Sometimes these images are taken on a mountain or with a host family, but always feature the photographer somehow in the context of the country or the culture that they are visiting.
