Relay for Life

IEEE, NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) and ASA (Asian Student Association) join together and fundraised for relay for Life. On October 9, 2009, the three clubs formed a group called "The Avenger" and walked from 3PM to 5AM. The club members formed a close bond as they walked at University of Hartford campus to bring hope and support to those who are battling cancer. The clubs donated over $400 dollar to American Cancer Association and fundraised during the relay by selling name bracelets for loved ones.

IEEE website gets a Facelift

IEEE launches new redesigned website on October 2nd, 2009. This new aesthetically pleasing website provides current and prospective members with information on IEEE mission, membership, resources, latest events, and much more. IEEEs new Eboard member Pauline Chin designed and developed the new website. “The new website is much more resourceful and interactive. I think it will help increase membership. I am excited to be part of the IEEE team and I think this will be a great year” said, Pauline.
