Since 2006, researchers and their advisors have been required to provide the HSC with documentation that they have completed an educational program dealing with the protection of human subjects in research. Documentation must be provided as part of your research proposal.
Starting December 2011, researchers and advisors will need to complete the CITI training program. NIH, NCI or other types of training will no longer suffice.
