"In the Place Where I Put That Thing That Time..."
Has anyone noticed that when you click on the detailed individual view of specific hits on SiteMeter, you can see the city the person is from? Just wanted to give you anonymous bloggers the heads up because it might be easy to figure out the place where you live if you're the only one who clicks to me from the link on your site. I won't tell, though.

As for today, after whining about my writing yesterday, I went to my Starbucks this morning and wrote. I decided that it might be time to get going on another project, one that I'll be presenting at a conference next month and that I've wanted to turn into a journal article. I've been thinking about it for a while, and for the conference abstract, they wanted a detailed plan. Apparently, it's included in the program. So, I set my timer, like I do in my classes, and I wrote. I set the timer for a solid hour, hid the clock in my toolbar, and just typed away. When the alarm rang, I checked, and I had 1,992 words and was on the seventh page. Now, a lot of it was, "And then I need to check this book for the quotation where she talks about the thing that happened." Still, I wrote, and I have a clear plan of texts to check and points to raise.

Oh, anyone know the film where I get the line in my post title? It's an obscure line in a film that garnered average attention, but I laugh whenever I hear it.
