Welcome to Recruitment 101!
Here you will find very important information regarding the recruitment process, including what to expect, what to wear and how it works. As a potential new member going through the recruitment or rush process can be very overwhelming to someone who doesn't know what to expect. Here you can find everything from terms most commonly used in the rooms to a night by night breakdown. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the Recruitment Chair, Alicia Farrell or any of the Panhellenic Eboard Members throughout the week.
Please take a moment to read this message from the Greek Life Advisor regarding grades:
"The Greek Life community at the University of Hartford plays a significant role in the quality of campus life. Members of these organizations participate in University sponsored programs, promote athletics, provide leadership opportunities, as well as promoting high academic standards.
To uphold the integrity of the Greek Life program at the University of Hartford, a new requirement will be instituted as of January 2009. Based upon the University’s grade point average (GPA) of 2.5, all students who are interested in Greek Life and choose to go through the recruitment process must have a minimum of a 2.5. There will be no exception to this requirement. If a student is interested in Greek Life and does not meet this requirement, the Office of Student Centers and Activities and Greek Life encourages students to continue to work hard in the classroom, in order to meet the GPA requirement."
