Mix & Mingle Night (9/16)

Seven parties lasting 20 minutes each; light conversation and most likely a “get-to-know-you” game

What to Wear:

DO’s:

Nice shirt or tank top
Nice jeans, khakis, or a causal skirt
Comfortable shoes or flip flops

DON’T’s

Formal Dress
Revealing clothing
Suit



Philanthropy Night (9/17)

Since Fall Recruitment is Informal, you can attend as many parties as you like (typically 3). Chapters should inform you about their specific philanthropy and most will provide a project or a game that will benefit that charity.

What to Wear:

DO’s:

Nice shirt or tank top
Nice jeans, khakis, or a causal skirt
Comfortable shoes or flip flops

DON’T’s

Formal Dress
Revealing clothing

Movie/Skit Night (9/18)

This is the last night of parties in the fall and you will only be permitted to attend 2 parties. Most chapters will show you a movie or perform a skit for you. Typical conversation topics include how you would fit into the sisterhood and what you are looking to get out of becoming Greek.

What to Wear:

DO’s:

Nice top
Nice jeans or dress pants (leggings are also acceptable)
Skirt or sundress

DON’T’s

Cocktail Dress
T-shirts or sweatshirts
Revealing Clothing


Bid Day (9/19)

Bid day is the day when you find out if you have any bids from the sororities, as the week comes to a close you will be narrowing down your list of Sororities that you would accept a bid from if they offered one. There are no parties on this day, but instead if your recruitment counselor tells you to come to Gengras then you'll be accepting your bid into the sorority.

What to Wear:

Jeans
Sandals, flats or nice sneakers
T-shirt
