Peter
Weiss
Dr. Weiss
received his Doctoral degree from Long Island University--Brooklyn
(NY) in 2001. The title of his dissertation was: 'Self-Esteem: A Study
of
Methods of Measurements". He joined the graduate Institute of Professional
Psychology in the Fall of 2007. Dr. Weiss
was an
adjunct professor at Long Island
University--Brooklyn from
2001-2006, an assessment
supervisor at Long Island University Psychological Services Clinic, and
a
research consultant in the Project Liberty Pilot Study at Mt. Sinai
School of
Medicine in New York
(NY). Dr. Weiss' research interests include personality assessment,
particularly
the Rorschach Comprehensive System, Kelly Role Construct Repertory
Test,
MMPI-2, and Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI); psychopathology,
criminal
psychology, psychological assessment of aggressive behavior;
psychological screening
of police officer candidates and, self-concept and self-esteem.
