Getting Started with Blackboard Orientations - Tuesdays, 12:15pm

Blackboard Orientations are held every Tuesday from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and are led by staff from the Faculty Center for Learning Development (FCLD). Bring your lunch and join us!

Sessions begin August 26, 2008.

Location:
Woods Center or the FCLD Faculty Lab (Mortensen Library)
Prerequisites: Basics of personal computing and surfing the Internet

Description:
This session is designed as a general orientation to Blackboard, the Internet application used to put courses on the web. You'll learn strategies for organizing your Blackboard course, review the many tools and features available in Blackboard, and start adding course content items like your syllabus and web links to your Blackboard course. Be sure to bring a digital version of your syllabus; this is designed as a hands-on seminar.

FCLD also offers additional seminars on individual Blackboard tools and other instructional technologies - For details and a full schedule, click here.

FCLD offers individual appointments if Tuesday sessions don't work for you. Please call to set up a time.
