Funding Sources for Educational Technology
The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce two new funding sources for educational
technology. More information about both opportunities and application guidelines can be found at

- Educational Technology Grants for Full-time Faculty. These grants, which include summer stipends,
are designed to assist faculty in learning educational technology and incorporating it into the curriculum to enhance teaching.
Questions about these grants can be addressed to the Assistant Provost and Dean of Faculty Development at extension 4504.
Deadline: Grant is November 15, 2008.
- School/College- and Program-Specific Educational Technology . These funds are designed to provide
schools/colleges and programs assistance in purchasing discipline-specific educational technology to enhance teaching and
learning. Questions can be addressed to George Brophy, Chief Information Officer/Executive Director of Information Technology
Services, at brophy@hartford.edu or extension 4608. Deadlines: Grant are March 15, 2008 and November 15, 2008.
