Tests and Surveys

Blackboard tests are a great way for instructors to track student progress. Instructors can create quick ‘check-ins’ or longer, cumulative tests. This documentation covers the step-by-step instructions for Blackboard tests and surveys. Also inlcuded below are related instructions for creating pools, or banks, of questions, and an explanation of the many types of questions available to use in Blackboard's Test and Survey Managers. 

The handouts are in both html and Microsoft Word formats. Simply click the (HTML) link to open it in a web page or click the (MS Word) link to get the word format. To save any of these documents to your computer, do the following:

1. Click onto the hyperlinked MS Word.
2. You will get two options: Open or Save.
3. Click "Save" to save a copy of the file to your computer.
4. Click "Open" to open the file within the browser.
5. Note: On a MAC, you can only download these files not view them within the browser.
