Request to add a Mechanical Engineering specialization for a Masters
in Engineering in Product Design. This is repackaging of existing
course offerings. The request was approved with the following recommendations:
the use of the term specialization (or concentration) be consistent in
catalog copy and on-line documentation, the department verify this request
does not require State approval. |

Request to revise graduate level Orchestral Conducting
major to align it with recent accreditation recommendations. A number
of new 600 level graduate level courses were proposed. The request was
tabled. The ‘Justification for Change’ for each course request must be
submitted. The committee asked Hartt to consider not generating
additional courses but instead to request a ‘Course Level Change’, ‘Course Number or Code Change’, etc. for the
existing 500 level conducting courses. |
