  Ron Clinton, Career Counselor has a 30-year history in career counseling, Ron joined the staff of the Center for Professional Development in 1998. He has a master's degree in educational research and psychological testing and certification in guidance and psychological services. He maintains a special interest in assessment of individual talents and inclinations as they relate to choosing career and life activities.

With Sharif Erik-Soussi, MBA you will: Explore the impact of self-employment on your your personal and family life.  Measure your potential for successful business ownership.  Evaluate your business plan and skills.  Develop action steps to grow your business.  This two-part self-assessment workshop is a prerequisite to Comprehensive Small Business Training.

Learn how to be more confident, prepared and relaxed.   Understand how to use your voice, body language, and word choice to successfully communicate your thoughts and ideas.  Apply your new skills in one-on-one conversations, small group settings, and formal business meetings or presentations.  Discover strategies to think on your feet, handle difficult questions, and plan for the unexpected.  This will be an interactive seminar using instructor presentation, group discussion, demonstrations, and role-play scenarios.
