Reading Groups - Level: Parents and Pre-Schoolers
A
new program that targets pre-school children and their parents
to help strengthen family literacy. A series of workshops trains
parents how to bond with their children by using books. While
parents attend their workshops, their children are being engaged
in different educational activities by interns from the University
of Hartford's Division of Education. Parents and children later
reunite for common activities. Families receive a certificate
upon completion.
