Expected Outcomes

The EET program is designed so that EET graduates can achieve a relevant and current set of objectives and outcomes and, by achieving these, be prepared to pursue a career in engineering technology. Graduates will be:

  • Qualified to join a technically sophisticated workforce as an integral member of an engineering team in the electronics field;

  • Able to apply fundamentals of mathematics, science, and engineering principles to solve electronic technology problems;

  • Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;

  • Able to use modern technology tools such as software and test equipment to analyze, simulate, design and improve processes;

  • Able to demonstrate competence in at least one specialty, such as Mechatronics, communications, or computer systems;

  • Able to work in a project-oriented team setting using project management techniques; and

  • Able to appreciate the need to engage in life-long learning activities.
