Problem
Statement: Development of a low-cost
parabolic solar collector for both thermal and PV
energy.
Description: A low-cost parabolic solar
collector has been introduced by Lite Trough LLC.
This collector's performance will be evaluated by
detailed parametric testing. In addition,
individual component testing will be performed to
optimize the string tensioners, Mylar enclosure and
central spine collector.
