Donald E. Bugnone
Donald E. Bugnone, 75 of Meadow Road, East Liverpool, OH died in the Emergency Room at East Liverpool City Hospital on Friday, April 24, 2009 after suddenly becoming ill at home. He was born in Weirton, WV on June 27, 1933 and was a son of the late Edward S. and Anna (Rodak) Bugnone.
Moving to East Liverpool from Pittsburgh, PA in 2003, he was a graduate of Weir High School, Class of 1951 and the Steubenville Business College. Mr. Bugnone was the owner of a Court Reporting Firm for over 40 years. He was a member of the International Trumpet Guild, a talented artist, music composer, avid golfer and gourmet cook. Don played the trumpet for various churches and other organizations including the EL Alumni Band. At one time, he organized an 18 piece band and also a jazz group that played in Pittsburgh and East Liverpool. He was a veteran serving with the US Air Force.
His wife, Annette (Phillips) Bugnone survives him at home. They were married on August 15, 1959.
Besides his parents, a sister: Irene Emma Canestraro preceded him in death.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Tanta Luckhart-Hendricks of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery where the Tri State Burial Group will accord military honors.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Wednesday from 11:30AM until the time of service. The family requests memorial contributions to the donors favirite[sic] charity.
