Spring Updates
With almost the end of spring, comes new updates...
A new video has been added. My premier performance of Guitar Concerto No. 1 by Dan Lis is now available to be viewed in the Media section under Videos.
For those interested in the CSA’s Guitar Ensemble please contact me. I’ll be running the ensemble somewhat differently in that I’m handing out music over the summer to allow members time to work on their parts before we start rehearsals.
This upcoming Saturday is my faculty recital at UConn. I’ll be performing a full length solo program at von der Mehden Recital Hall on UConn’s main campus at Storrs. It’s free and open to the public so feel free to come and bring family and friends. It starts at 7:00pm and shouldn’t go much past 8:30pm.
Also, there’s some good news about the Suzuki Guitar program up at CSA. This upcoming fall, we will hopefully be able to start group classes, and create a full fledged program. If you are interested in signing up, please feel free to contact me, and I’ll provide more information on the program. This is very exciting and the students who are already signed up are doing great.
Finally, some news on my Graduate Solo Recital and recordings. First off, I’ve put off my graduate recital at Hartt until early of 2nd semester next year. This ties in with my solo recital CD, that’ll be recorded hopefully during the winter vacation. I’ve had to put it off because of other commitments that I had throughout this year. Also, I’m planning not only a solo recital CD but a recording devoted to several chamber works of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. I’m not sure when that project will take off, but it is on the “to do” list. Check back for more updates!
