The Multimedia Lab

If you take a course in multimedia production, journalism, writing for the media, or any of a number of advertising and public relations courses, you will find yourself in the Multimedia lab of the School of Communication, housed in room 251 of Hillyer Hall. The lab has 20 state of the art, networked Dell multimedia computers; a faculty computer instructional system (including DVD/VCR) and an overhead projection system. All the computers in this lab are equipped with multimedia and office software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Fireworks and Microsoft Office, among others. The lab also has two state-of-the art non-linear Avid video editing systems for use by students in broadcast journalism classes.
