Architectural Engineering Technology

The undergraduate program in Architectural Engineering Technology (AET) teaches an understanding of how buildings are designed and created, including the evolution of a building and how to communicate design decisions along with the evaluation, selection, and application of different materials, construction techniques, and mechanical and electrical systems. Coursework in the program includes design, the history of architecture, mechanics, physics, and mathematics, all supported by the Educational Objectives and Expected Outcomes. The program is one of only six baccalaureate programs accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) in the United States.
