The interviewing process can be scary if you don't know what to expect. Being prepared and understanding the process will assist you in being self-confident. The following are some tips that will help you through the interviewing process.

Before the Interview

  •   Understand yourself, your strengths, and abilities. By identifying   these you will be able to understand what you have to offer an   employer. Be able to clearly state your abilities and potential.
  •   Research the company and know the principal products or   services provided by them. Be prepared with several questions   regarding the company, which will show your interest in them.
  •   Look Professional on the day of the interview. Dress   appropriately. First impressions are important.
  •   Review the list of most frequently asked questions by employers   and start thinking about how you would answer those questions.
  •   Be on time. Whether you are going to be interviewed on campus   or at the company site, promptness is a must.
  •   Relax!

During the Interview

  •   Be yourself and present yourself in an honest and sincere   manner. Be self -confident, but not arrogant and maintain a   pleasant, friendly, and courteous demeanor.
  •   Express your thoughts clearly, avoid using slang, and avoid   responding with just "yes" or "no" answers.
  •   Stress your abilities and accomplishments.
  •   Express your interest in the company and the position you are   being interview for.
  •   Remain flexible and open-minded.
  •   Ask your prepared questions concerning the organization.

After the interview, don't forget to send a thank you note to the interviewer expressing how how appreciative you were for the interview and their time, as well as expressing how the interview made you more excited about the position.
