Welcome to the Hartt School Student Chapter of ASTA, the American String Teachers Association. Our organization consists of string players in the University of Hartford. Each year features guest speakers, community outreach events, fundraisers, and the National ASTA Conference.

  • Welcome String Players!
    Congratulations to all of our incoming string players in Fall 2007. We welcome all of you to join ASTA and see what it has to offer--to any string player!
     

  • 2007-2008 E-Board
    Congratulations to the new 2007-2008 E-Board members! They are:

         John Sutherland - President
         Rachel Whitty - Vice President
         Melissa Knorr - Secretary
         Krissy Franzen - Treasurer

  • 2008 National Conference
    The 2008 National ASTA Conference will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico from February 27-March 1. Informational meetings will be held starting in September for those interested in going. Contact an E-Board member for more information!
