Activity: Meeting - Officers

Date: January 21, 2010

Time: 1:00PM – 1:30PM

Attendance: 6 (officers + 2 members)

 

·    Change Meeting times to Tuesday at 12:00PM

·    Permanent change of location to UT 106 (Soils & Concrete lab)

·    Decided on building day: Wednesday at 7:00PM and Friday afternoons as needed

·    Decided that we won’t be racing in the event – missed the deadline to apply to be considered – the paper that  is required to race needs to be written by someone that has built the canoe before – no one has successfully built the canoe that is currently in ASCE

·    Discussed what needs to be done to get ready to build the canoe

·    Discussed fundraisers & open events for the semester.

·    Filled out remaining sections of the annual ASCE report.

·    Recreated the website (http://uhaweb.hartford.edu/ASCE)

·    Decided on a date and time to go buy supplies for building the concrete canoe
