What is Explorations?
The Explorations program in the College
of Arts and Sciences is designed to help students in their search
for the right major and the right career. While the program is structured,
it is certainly not restrictive. Our objective is simple: to introduce
you to a wide range of major and career options and to help focus
your exploration of those options.
Who is involved?
Knowledgeable, supportive advisors who take a
personal interest in you and your goals will guide your "Explorations"
experience. They will help you identify both courses and extracurricular
activities that will let you explore a variety of academic areas,
without being forced to commit to any of them.
When do I get involved?
If you are an undecided major, your Explorations
program begins even before school starts and extends throughout
your freshman year |
