What is Freshman Dialogue?
The dialogue program is a valuable resource
to help first-year students become acclimated to life at the University
of Hartford.
When does it happen?
Once a week throughout the first semester, students
meet with an academic advisor assigned to them during Freshman Orientation.
In small group meetings, students are provided an intimate, comfortable
setting to discuss issues and concerns they may face as they adjust
to college life.
Why do I have to take it?
The dialogue program also helps students become
acquainted with various facilities and services available at the
University of Hartford, from Computer Services to the Career Center.
Students will also discover clubs, activities and other areas of
interest at the University of Hartford.
One way to explore a new environment is to get
involved in some of the University's many clubs or extracurricular
activities. The more than 100 organizations on campus range from
an active student government to student-run radio and TV stations.
Students who participate in these organizations, often become active
and positive contributors to the University community. |
