GPAOverall GPA includes all courses taken for letter grade. Courses used to calculate GPA within the major are courses with the code designation AET.
Technical Specialty
courses are defined as specific upper level courses in the major.
Professional Electives are courses that contribute to a student's career goals and objectives and are carefully chosen in consultation with the academic advisor.
Unrestricted Elective may be courses from any of the colleges in the University. Students are encouraged to supplement their program of study by taking unrestricted electives.

MINORA minor in architectural engineering technology is available to students in programs other than architectural engineering technology who have interests and abilities in architectural design. Students must declare the minor in architecture prior to the end of their junior year.
Students must complete the following courses for the architectural engineering technology minor.
AET 123 - Architectural Design I (4 credits)
AET 155 - History of Architecture (4 credits)
