Vice President, Account Director


Kathy has worked at BBDO New York for the past six years, most recently as an account management consultant. Her experience includes consumer packaged goods and technology. She has had significant experience in new product development and product launches. In her latest assignment, she launched the Cingular brand, the second largest wireless service provider in the country. In her role on the Cingular business, she coordinated branding and retail advertising activity, including production of the nationally recognized "Dan" Super Bowl television execution, featuring artist Dan Keplinger. She also spearheaded Brand Identity guidelines and standards to ensure consistent communication across all marketing efforts.


Prior to working on Cingular, Kathy specialized in the packaged goods category. She has managed leadership brands such as Campbell's Soup and Hellmann's Mayonnaise.


Kathy began her advertising career in Chicago, working for a local creative Agency before moving to New York. Her first job in New York was at Grey Advertising, where she was an account executive on the Kenner toy account. After several years working on classic brands like Play-Doh and Spirograph, she was introduced to the packaged goods industry by rotating onto the Kraft/General Foods business. Kathy later left Grey for McCann-Erickson to manage I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and Promise margarine brands.


Kathy received her A.B. in Economics and English from Duke University and lives in Easton, CT. In her spare time she is an avid sailboat racer.
