Well That's all from the talking part... I hope you learned a thing or two........To finish it off I'll be nice and put in a little recipe. For one of my favorite foods....curry chicken
How to make it....What you will need is:
1. Chicken (does not have to be cut up small how ever you prefer but i prefer it cut up small.)
2. Curry powder...preferably Jamaican curry powder if you can find it. If not whatever kind you find will do.
3. 2 Scallions, a little piece of thyme, 1 onion, 3 pieces of garlic, bottle seasonings (black pepper, salt, adobo)
4. A pot big enough to fit the chicken you are making. And one that wont stain because remember ...curry stains
5. Cooking oil
Directions
First you wash the chicken and make sure it is cleaned properly and cut up .
Then, you strain excess water and put it in a container along with the onions, scallions, and thyme.
Pour the bottle seasoning on it. Just a little of everything...not too much. Then you mix everything together with your hand. I find it harder to do with a spoon things tend to spill.
Put the pot on the stove with about a tablespoon of oil in the pot. Put the fire on Medium High
Then put on gloves and pour a little curry powder( about 2 tablespoons) in the mixture and with the gloves, you mix it again until everything is covered in curry.
Then you put everything in the pot and add about a cup and a half of water and stir.
Keep checking on it and tasting it occasionally to see if it needs anyhting. You can always add extra things if you want . Personally I add cut up potatoes when the chicken is cooked.
In about an hour and a half you can check if it needs to be turned off. ( When the chicken is cooked )
Serve with anything...Rice, bread, whatever
This was from my own experiences and so were the vocab so.....in case you want more in depth info...feel free to visit...
