Grades and Grading System

Grades: Grades are mailed to the student at the end of each semester. It is the policy of the University of Hartford to issue copies of grade reports to parents of students, when requested by parents, unless expressly asked by students not to do so. If the student requests that the information not be divulged, it then becomes the responsibility of the parent seeking the information, under the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, to establish to the satisfaction of the University that the student in question is financially dependent (as defined by the Internal Revenue Code) upon the person requesting grade information.
