Capstone Course: Portfolio (RPW 472)
The RPW Capstone allows you to work individually with your faculty adviser to prepare a selection of your best work, including class assignments or projects, material developed during an internship, or work from an independent study.
During this process you will review your writing history in the RPW program, select representative work, revise, and reflect on the process. The resulting portfolio is not only an excellent learning opportunity but also a significant tool when you begin interviewing for employment or applying to graduate school. Majors are required to complete the Capstone. Minors may take the Capstone course, with the approval of their advisor. Senior RPW majors may present selections from their portfolio at a luncheon during the last week of class of each spring semester.
