Grading Policy

Course Grade:

Guaranteed grading scale:  90 = A, 80 = B, 70 = C, 60 = D

Laboratory grades:  Since this is a laboratory course, a passing grade in the laboratory is required in order to pass the course.  A failing grade in the lab will result in a failing grade for the overall course.

Make-up Assignments:  Make up assignments will be given only at the discretion of the professor.  Be aware that make-up examinations are ALWAYS significantly more difficulty than regular exams.  If the professor is not notified of the reason for a missed exam within 24 hours of the test, there will be no make-up given.  Quizzes can not be made up.  The lowest score or a single zero due to an absence on a quiz day will be dropped at the end of the term.

Remember that it is simply courtesy to let me know why you have missed class.
