Probationary Membership!

Our chapter is currently involved in the Lambda (11th letter of the Greek alphabet) probationary class period. Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia is a non-hazing music fraternity. We are not a "frat," and do not condone such behaviors commonly associated with 'frat' life. You are here to pursue a higher education, and Phi Mu Alpha is not there to deter you from that. If you are interesting in what our brotherhood has to offer, feel free to talk to any of our chapter members or email Dan Liptak, our chapter's education officer. If you have any curiosity, or questions, we will be holding information sessions at the beginning of next semester and we encourage you to come and see what we have to offer. If you decide you would like to take up our offer, your probationary membership period will consist of constructive activities, projects, and programs designed to educate you and your fellow probationary members on the virtues, purposes, history, and structure of the Fraternity, on both a national and chapter level. You will also make bonds that will last a lifetime and connections to hundreds of thousands of musicians across the nation.
