Newest Single: Controvento

ancora non lo sai
ma qualcosa dentro
me si è spento
è già un pò di tempo
che cerco di
parlarne a te

non hai capito mai
non vedevi il
mio sfiorire lento
tu non ti accorgevi
che ogni giorno io
mi staccavo sempre
più da te

ti volevo dire che
tutto sta per finire
ma ci sono parole che
poi non riescono a uscire

ti volevo dire di
quando non mi bastavi
e che più di una notte
rientrando ho perso le chiavi
per aprirmi a te
per aprirmi a te
e mi sono sempre
più rinchiuso in me

ho preso il volo ormai
ora che sto
andando controvento
io non ci ripenserò
questa volta no
tu però ancora non lo sai

ti volevo dire che
tutto sta per finire
ma ci sono parole che
poi non riescono a uscire
ti volevo dire di
quando non mi bastavi
e ché più di una
notte rientrando ho
perso le chiavi
mentre tu perdevi me

ti volevo dire che
forse poteva andar meglio
ma domani non sarò
lì con te al tuo risveglio
non sarò più lì
non sarò più lì
che è finita
tu lo saprai così
lo saprai così
you don't know yet
but something inside me
has been put out
it has been a while
that I try to talk
to you about it

you never understood
you never saw
that I was fading slowly
you never noticed that
every single day
I got further and further away
from you

I just want to say that
everything is going to come to an end
but there are no words
that I can say right now

I just want to say that
you were not enough for me
and that more than once
I lost my keys when
coming back home at night
to open up for you but
I draw back to myself even more.

By now I'm gone
flying against the wind
I won't change my mind again
not this time
but you don't know yet

I just want to say that
everything is going to come to an end
but there are no words
that I can say right now

I just want to say that
you were not enough for me
and that more than once
I lost my keys when
coming back home at night
while you were losing me

I just want to say that
everything could have gone better
but tomorrow I won't be
there when you wake up
I won't be there any longer
I won't be there any longer
so you'll understand
so you'll understand
that it's over

Eros’ description of his new song:
“To take flight you have to head into the wind.
In a love affair you sometimes have to have the strength
and the courage to go against the wind if you want to fly again. With its R&B influence,
this track describes a relationship that has dragged on too long amidst misunderstandings
and incommunicability. A love story that dies a little more each day, until the bitter,
rather cowardly, end for the one who decides to leave. Just like that, without a word.”

Interesting Facts

An American record producer Clive Davis advised him to hold a concert at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City, which Ramazzotti eventually did. Ramazzotti was the first Italian artist to perform at the renowned concert hall before a sell-out crowd. However, the Italian singer was later disappointed to learn that most of his audience was of an Italian descent.

In March 2006, Eros received the Italian Republic’s “Commedatore” honor.

In April 2008, Eros was awarded the prestigious National American Italian Foundation (NIAF) award in Hollywood for his work towards reflecting a positive Italian image abroad.

Eros is probably best known for his romantic love songs, unique voice and uncanny ability to evoke a depth of human feeling that can be felt even if you do not understand the language in which he sings.

Eros is a hug fan of soccer- he loves to watch and play. He plays on the team 'nazionale italiana cantanti' (National Italian Singers). The team is dedicated to help and fund various charities.

Along with Luca Bianchini, Eros wrote Lo Giuro. The book tells of his life and success through behaviors and anecdotes previously unknown. He decided to write the book because he doesn't think he properly expresses himself in interviews. The proceeds from the book benefited the 'Lega del Filo d'Oro'.
